Frequently Asked Questions
What type of artwork is donated?
We donate art in any 2D medium and size as long as it encourages women and/or advocates for their rights. The artwork also has to be appropriate!
How do I donate artwork?
Currently, there are two ways to donate artworks. The first way is by joining our team. We organize projects and donate the pieces to local organizations/shelters (check the “Projects” page for examples). If you are not interested in joining the team, you can donate artworks through the “Donations” page. Images of work submitted through this process are compiled into a catalog alongside the artwork created for our previous projects and sent to organizations overseas. Works of art selected by the organizations are then donated to them. Team members can also submit artwork to be added to the catalog.
You can submit old art pieces to be added to the catalog, but you cannot submit old pieces for team projects.
Service hours are only given if you create a new piece. (Creating a new piece for overseas donation and want service hours? Contact us!)
For overseas donations, digital artwork is preferred. If you have a good image of a traditional artwork then submit it!
Really want your donated artwork to be chosen by the organizations? Submit scenic pieces! They were the most selected.
